While I was on the motorway changing lanes, the car trim and body picked up lime (white lane marking paint). How do I remove it?

engine starts up just fine in the morning before work, but if its been warmed up at all and i try to start the engine it will struggle to engage unless i feed it throttle, once engaged it wil idle very low, then die if im not feeding it fuel, after about 10-15 seconds it will idle fine.
also, my engine overheats if im not driving around, or, letting air cool her out.. i will overheat at stop lights.. just started happening, i changed the thermostat recently.. could it be fuel pump? filter? my plugs and caps are all good.

I'd rather not have to buy a new number plate, but can't find a suitable sticker to cover up this blue thing.

I wouldn't be able to use ethanol since my town doesn't have a gas station w/ one. If there is a site u know of that answers my question please let me know, cuz my own search on the matter has come up with nothing so far. And trading my car for a "green" one isn't an option. 1) can't afford it. 2) For some reason, the only vehicles I like, are Ford Mustangs. Thanks peeps.

I bought a used 2000 Honda Civic EX a week ago, and I cannot figure out how to change the clock in the stock radio. I don't have the owners manual and I cannot find instructions on how to do this. I tried pressing (and holding) some buttons but none of them worked so far. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi all, had a battery drain problem for a couple of weeks, and because I haven't used the car at the weekend, the battery is completely flat. The doors have electronic opening and won't open. I have tried the boot lid and this won't open either. Any ideas how I can either open the doors or get the bonnet open so I can get the battery charged?

i gave $500 for the little car to save it from the crusher pile because they didn't know it had glow plugs that had to be warm prior to spinning the motor over, it would not start so he said crush it boys, i ran in and payed his price 15 min later drove it home washed it and its the best old stye car i ever owned, now i'm wondering shouldn't something be worn down or about to break what is the life span of this car for a 1975 most cars would be dead by now, but it just keeps on going, am i missing something that should need replaced and if not why in the world can't all other car makers build diesel powered cars that last this long and that are built like tanks???

I drive a 2004 Toyota Corolla S and I wanted to have my car sound loud and achieve the sounds as you hear in "Fast and the Furious" kind of like the loud buzz sound, but I don't want anything that sounds sharp and puny. figured that I would have to buy a new muffler, but a friend from work told me that an exhaust tip is all i needed if I wanted that loud sound. So tell me, what would I need?
Also, the stock muffler on my car is partially covered and hidden behind the rear bumper, and it points towards the ground (If you own or ever seen a Toyota corolla S you would know what I mean). So how would that work out during installation? IF all I will be doing is adding an exhaust tip, would I need a new muffler so it goes straight out? That would mean I would have to get the rear bumper cut for the exhaust to get through correct? Roughly what is the cost of that? It would also help if you could point me out to some products.

Thank You for your help!!!

If I let my friend make a bad financial decision, am I an enabler? He wants to buy my old car. It has 200,000 miles, and several things wrong with it. He already owns 3 cars, all of which are old, and in need of repair. I keep telling him to sell all of them, and get a newer car that works. I have even made charts showing how it will cost less. He won't listen to me. He just keeps repeating, "I can't afford a car payment". Should I let him buy my car? Or should I tell him "No, I won't let you make another bad decision".

I promised myself that I could do without the car for a month, so I have been cycling everywhere. Ive not even opened the car door for just under 4 weeks. I know the battery will probably be flat and will need charging. I am going to start driving it again in a weeks time. What other things, if any should I need to check ?

My daughter need to get a car, and she really wants a Hybrid. Is this a good car for new drivers(teenager). How much better is H model over the regular RX350 on the environment. I figure its a safe car, and would rather see her in a Mid-size SUV, then a tiny Prius. Any reliability troubles? Thanks everyone.

By the way, she has been driving my G-class, so I dont believe the size will affect her too much
