you lost your licence? what's worse, dealing with gas prices or having to walk/find a ride/take a bus/taxi/etc....?

riding the bus sucks! Losing your liscense has downfalls with insurance! Get a electric car or hybrid! They aren't cheap but worth it in the long run. The colest car I've seen is a tesla! 0 to 60 in 4.2 sec. Battery last for 250 miles with a 3hr charge. The only downfall is the $92000 price.... but these kinds of cars will get cheaper once they are older and materials become cheaper! Price here in IA is 3.30 a gallon righ now and it sucks big time!

as far as riding a bus, i suppose it would depend on where you live... most big cities have busses at a low expense- as far as actually buying a hybrid- the n.gas average is just over $3.00 per gallon. I have a car that is paid off so I don't have a payment- for me it is easier to pay the gas prices and just drive like I normally would, however, if you already have a car payment on a non hybrid car, then it may be worth trading it in or getting a hybrid-I drive 100 miles a day and having a hybrid would save me about $100 in gas,(not taking into account the cost of eletric to recharge the battery) but with the added car payment and insurance cost, it isn't worth it for me to buy one. Gas would need to reach $6.00 a gallon before I would consider such a change.

We will pay gas prices just to save time. What do I mean? Well, if it takes you one hour to drive to work you will most certainly not take public transportation that will take you an hour and a half or more. I could give more examples but the point is we rather be time-efficient and therefore we will not give up our licenses.

Well the bus,carpooling,bike riding & walking is better cause gas is very pricy now a days its just robbery now a days with these prices like up here in BC it like a $1.27 just for on letre!

None of us like the current gas prices... but even though we complain and complain we're still going to pay what we have to. Guess we have to deal with it for now and wait it out.
