UK councils caught on to the fact that people would share tickets when leaving a car park and started asking you to enter your car registration before dispensing your ticket.
But why do these machines use a three column vertical alpha-numeric set of buttons instead of a horizontal qwerty set that everyone is used to. I find this really annoying!

I don't want to have to ask my dad AGAIN about my car, I want to take care of it myself, but I don't want to be charged way too much for getting new brakes. It's a 2003 Ford Focus if that makes a difference. Also, are the big nationwide brake places good to go to or find someone local?

I found a junk 56 corvette, body is in tact but needs work, no engine or trans, no interior, glass is good. Basically the car is a rolling chasis that needs total restoration. The guy is asking $35,000. It seems kinda steep, what are these worth? This is not a fulie or anything special, just a reg 56 vette

Help! I recently had my candy apple red 2007 Dodge Charger stolen. I am on the search for a new car, but there's so many to choose from.
We don't have any kids. Only a step and she's only with us over the summer. I'm thick and tall, so a small car is not going to work. I also have to think about gas prices.
We have a Ford F150 and two motorcycles. My dream car is a BMW.
Does anyone have any ideas that I can look at?

Air filter plugged with dirt. Cleaned oil filter and reoiled.
Dirt and sand in carburetor. Removed fuel tank with carb cleaned internal carburetor components. Ignition system works plugged sparks.
Ok here is the deal TEST FAIL
Reason oil pumping past worn piston rings and or valve guides.
Engine failure due to lack of maintance.

Labor @ 108 minutes $72.50
Is it ok to charge full price it still does not work. But it is labor and my time spent. I stopped at 72.50 because its a lawn mower. If I were to rebuild it that would cost as much as a new mower.

Thank you.

I guess you can say I was raised with Porsche's. He had a lot of them. Not all at once, but he seemed to trade them in left and right. He would drop me off for a sleep over and then pick me up in another color. He owned one of the first street legal Carrera's. My question is, in those days it seemed like the community was real tight. Everytime one Porsche driver came upon another, it was proper etiquette to flash your
lights at them. Kind of a "recognition." I don't see them doing that today. Am I just missing this or has that tradition died?

Also a question for you. Of course sentementally I want to buy
a Porsche from that time. I know more about the guts, and how to work on them. It was something we shared. Dare I admit it, was mostly jr.&sr. high (close your eyes) 74-78. I can't really remember why but I think 76 was my fav. Is that the year they came out with the wrap around lights?
Scared to look! What would be a good start? Clubs?
Thanks a million!!!

i drive a 2002 nissan altima, it seems like i fill up everyday and then by the end of the day i need gas again? like it doesnt make since. im thinking if i fill up early in the week i have gas for the whole week until about saturday. it was fine when i was over seas but when i got here it like not holding gas.(they're gas is higher than ours)... i also had a friend that had a 2003 altima and he told me that his service engine light would come on and off for him and it does that to me, but myne stays on all the time. sometimes it goes away but most of time it stays. he said that suposedly they have sensors in the gas cap, if its not screwed on well that light comes on(it says it in the manual too). i dont know what it could be why im loosing gas like crazy and i want to know what it is? what do yall think? no dumb answers plz!

I have enough money to buy a used one but since it snows here in Michigan they think that a mustang would be an impractical car because it won't handle well in the snow.
