i have a 1991 honda accord lx, and there is a black wire and a white with green stripe wire. Which wire is the signal wire, and what is the other wire?

i would guess that black was ground and the white with green stripe was signal, but i want to make sure first.

Alright. I'm 17. and i am looking for a cheap car to buy. My uncle has a Subaru Outback or legacy. looks like a 1999ish , Stick Shift/Manuel for about $1800. My mom has a Nissan Pathfinder, automatic, a 1995ish for about $2000. This will be my first car so which one would be better suited for me?

I keep seeing idiots in Escalades, hummers & other brand new SUVs riding on blinged out $4,000+ wheels..whats the deal, are these people so rich they just dont give a damn about it? I understand some people use them for practical purposes..but 95% are just tryin to show off and be cool. Many a time I see some chick up there in the cabin goin to the mall..its a joke.

I try to drive 5 to 10 mph. lower then the posted speed. So far I saved about $25 a week and still get to where I need to go. Over a month that is a tank of gas.

its summer I thought you guys should know you can turn your A/C up full blast...it doesnt make you run out of gas any quicker people..

Don't believe either one.

In two separate studies conducted in 2005, the automotive Web site Edmunds.com and Consumer Reports compared the fuel economy of both a sedan and an SUV at highway speeds with and without air conditioning and how open windows affected gas usage.

our lovely 99 Accord Automatic has recently been stalling for no reason. when you get out of the gas to suddenly or are just coasting /slowing down to make a turn it will stall. I say its a problem with the fuel system somewhere or possibly the idle needs to be set higher, but my dad seems to think otherwise (what he thinks i have no idea) rarely it will have trouble starting. it will start, then die a second later. (def fuel or idle right?) its not the air filter as it is fairly new. Thanks for the help!

Im a 25 year old guy who commutes to work 30 miles in and out of Boston each day for work. If you had the choice of the following two cars to drive and buy which one would you get and why? A 2004 Black Ford Taurus SES sport with the 200hp V6 or a A 2006 Red Focus ST with a five speed manual and loaded up both have the same equipment and similar price. Which would you buy and why? I installed the stereo myself 3 months ago and it worked fine until yesterday. I'm no mechanic by any means but it was a pretty easy install and the wiring all seems to be correct. The display stays on when the car is turned off, all other lights are off, doors locked, etc.

Also, while, the display stays on, the stereo itself does not... I can't turn it on and play music or anything while the car is off.

I literally have to unhook it from the battery every night to turn it off. Any thoughts?

we just rebuilt an engine several months ago and just replaced radiator and water pump and we test it to see if it still overheating, it still does alittle bit but it still getting too hot slowly, so what you suggest i should do? we checked transmission, it still in a good shape.

My thinking is to buy a used car from private individual instead of going to a dealership. Is it best to first find the car your looking for, then apply for the loan? Or is it better to apply for a car loan with a set amount in mind, and then have the money ready to go once I come across the car Im looking for?
