The DMV, is not a law enforcement agency. The data they would have, is that you have unpaid tickets, what they're for, the court owed, and how much it is, for each ticket. They can tell you if you are suspended/revoked, and for how long, and what you need to do, to fix it. If you want to know if you have warrants, not related to driving, bit's public information, you may be able to get the info online, although I'm not sure of that. I do know you can visit a jail site, and it will show who is there, who just checked in, and what they're there for. Try that.

Go down to your local DMV and get a printout. They cost around 5 dollars and are issued on the spot. It will tell you if you have any outstanding warrants. I highly doubt the clerk at the DMV will call the cops on you unless you're wanted for a serious hit and run accident involving personal injury.

Did you get any tickets in the past and not pay them?
Hire a lawyer to find out for you.
