i just bought a resistor chip on ebay for $15 and i need to get it installed, its easy installison but i know nothing on cars, so how much you think a mechanic should charge me to put it in, so far i almost got ripped off this one mechanic tried charging me a 100 bucks, i found that very stupid because i only paid 15 bucks for the chip.

I am considering buying a 14' Monark aluminum flatbottom boat with a 20Hp Mercury Outboard Motor that was made in 1974. I would like to know what to look for when I go to check the motor out. I don't know anything about boat motors, so anything you can provide would be helpful. Thank you! ~Chris

I had it checked and they say the o2 cencor was bad. So now my windows or door locks won't work either when the car stalls. Can this be the o2 cencor or is it wiring causing the problem?? Seems when I try to start it it isn't getting any gas feels like to me so maybe it is wiring problem and not engine problem or o2 problem Please someone help me.. I am getting p---ed off here with this car.. I mean it has a great body and runs good except for this problem starting up

Hello.

I have a few questions about re-financing an auto loan. I have a Jeep Wrangler that I want to upgrade (suspension and tires etc.). Now, I have a loan with Chrysler which I owe about $15,000 currently.

Would I be able to re-finance my loan for, say, $18,000 (with another bank, loaner, or even Chrysler) to cover the charges of those upgrades? And just have my monthly payment go up? Or would I be better off just taking out a small personal loan? Or just saving the cash (the hardest and longest)?

I have good credit and I always pay my bills on time. Would this bad for my credit?

What would you do?

Any suggestions or opinions would be excellent.

Thank you in advance.

I've read that GM will make available to consumers 100 hydrogen powered vehicles for testing in 2008. If you had the chance would you like to have one of these cars? Also how much does hydrogen cost anyway?

When it comes to cars anyway. GM and Ford sell very well outside the US, yet here in America just about everyone I know will say GM & Ford = Garbage! It could be a brand new model or something that's been around for years but it's no good to them. I hear the same tired old stories when I talk to friends about cars.... "I bought a Ford back in 84 and it broke down, I'll never buy another one!" Uhhh, that was over 20 years ago dude. "I don't care they suck" Do we Americans have no pride left?

Its not actually the starter piece, when you take it off the oval shaped piece attached to the engine wont turn which enables it to start. Its a scooter and I can push it so there no problems with the wheel movement. WHat can I do to fix this?

You leave your home at seven o'clock streight up every morning going to work.
A person or business puts a digital clock along side the road. The clock is four (4) minutes fast. You adjust your speed in order to get back on what you think is your scheduled driving time. You have a wreck due to the increased speed. Does the owner of the clock bear any responsibilty for giving the incorect information. The information you received visiablly and adjusted your speed because you preseved to be running late.
