6 weeks to 90 days use regular car wax such as raindance no cleaner waxes and no polish's

Ask the body shop since the time can vary by manufacturer of the paint and by what type of paint it is.

For a factory paint job, you don't need to wait since the paint is cured at a higher temperature that body shop can't use since the interior is installed..plus a new car as already been sitting in a storage lot for a significant amount of time

I would wait at least a month. Should be no need to wax it sooner anyway, if they did a good job. If the paint hasn't set after a month..it never will.

YOU HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST 6 MONTHS. YOU ALSO DO NOT WANT TO WAX YOUR CAR A LOT. IT WILL EAT UP THE PAINT. IF YOU'VE EVER WAXED YOUR CAR YOU CAN SEE PAINT ON THE RAG THAT YOU USE.

If your car was painted in a body shop they use special drying lamps to cure the paint.You should wait at least seven days.
