just wondering how to up the sensitivity on my viper alarm...and if possible could anyone tell me what the sensor looks like...thanks

The shock sensor looks like a small box with the outside shell made of transparent plastic. It's about 1 1/2" long and will have a plug with four wires coming out one end. There is a recessed dial on the side of the sensor that you can adjust using a small philips screwdriver. Turn it clockwise to increase the sensitivity.

Hard to say about your trunk button. You might just need to get used to the remote. No, your factory stuff should still work. It should not have been disabled. The shock sensor is probably mounted to once side of the car and may not be as secure as it should be. I'd ask him to make sure the shock sensor is mounted to a structural piece of the car and not wire tied to something flimsy like plastic or wiring. And then you'll probably need to have it readjusted too.
