Don't know , I still see people pumping gas, People are going to do what they have to you know that, If we told every one to jump up and for one minute , Do you thank that they would do that no,

Yeh that was pretty stupid. If we stopped pumping gas for a whole month then it would probably affect demand, but it would mean nobody would be driving to work anymore. The effect, if any, was felt by the small gas station owners. Anything higher up the supply chain didn't feel a thing. Common sense says the gas stations didn't boycott gas... they had to buy as much gas as expected in a normal day to keep their tanks full. If the boycott affected the demand for gas (which is doubtful) then the gas stations just didn't get to sell the gas that they bought. The 'burble' was absorbed by the supply chain.

the day of may have seen lower sales but the days before and after would have seen higher sales than normal from people who bought in preparation or waited until the day after

it will never be successful because we all need gas to live our lives like normal no matter how much the price goes up

Not effective. all of the people who did not buy gas yesterday bought gas today!

It will never work. We need gas and the gas companies and gas stations know it.
