Nope...........12 volt will fry the wiring.

You are confusing Voltage with Amperage.

Think in terms of water: In a garden hose, Volts are the diameter of the hose (volume), Amps are how much water is running through that hose (impedence, or pressure), and Ohms are how fast the water runs (resistance).

If you try to squeeze double the pressure through a hose without letting it escape, well, you get the idea.

Unless you desire to completely rewire ( a daunting task, I can assure you) your golf cart, you will run in to problems.

No, as the deep cycling you need in a golf cart is higher in the 6-6 volts. than in the 3 12 volts even deep cycling. Or you could do it. The difference is longer charging (it would require a new one) and faster full to empty..

You need to know the voltage the motor runs on. 6 batteries in parallel would be 6 volts. Three 12 volt battries would be 12 volts in parallel. check the battery wiring.

Depends, if they are hooked up in series (like flashlight batteries) thus making the total voltage 36 volts, then yes, in theory you can.

However, if they are hooked in parallel, then you can’t, the 12 volts will burn up the entire kart.

All in all, I wouldn’t recommend doing it except in an emergency, golf cart batteries are built different than regular car batteries, so they won’t work as well.

While it sounds like it would work, it won't. 6 volt batteries
work at a different amperage than 12, ( something will blow)
