I bought a used 2000 Honda Civic EX a week ago, and I cannot figure out how to change the clock in the stock radio. I don't have the owners manual and I cannot find instructions on how to do this. I tried pressing (and holding) some buttons but none of them worked so far. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

There are two different ways to set the clock depending on the radio you have. I think the first one below will be the one that does it but if it doesn't, then try procedure #2

on the right side of your radio (to the right of the clock display) there should be a 'scan' button. It should be the lower of two horizontal buttons and it should say 'clock' under it (the button may say scan/rpt or something else but it should be the lower of the two buttons). with the ignition key turned "on" so that the instrument panel lights and the clock are illuminated (you don't need to start the car) and the radio OFF so only the clock is displayed, push in on the SCAN button and hold it in. While holding it in, push the #4 radio preset button (under the radio display) to change the hours and then release that button to 'set' it when you have the right hours. Continue to hold the Scan button in and use the radio station preset button #5 to set the minutes. When the minutes are set, release the button and turn the key off. that's all you need to do.

If the first procedure doesn't work then use the fillowing:
on some later radios, you push in the Scan/rpt/clock button and hold it until it beeps. if you hear a beep when you are holding the scan button in, then you release the button and use the #4 and #5 buttons to set the time. when the correct time is set, then push the Scan button a second time and hold it until it beeps. when it beeps the time is set and you can turn the key off.
hope that answers your question
