Inside the top of the distributor cap. There is a cover over it. Usually 2 - 4 small hex screws hold it on. Unplug the wires under the cap before removing the coil.

you have H E I high enegry ignition. your coil is under the cover on top of your dist. cap. the cover comes off with two
screws, and the coil is held down by four screws of the same size. every thing that controls the coil , the control module, the pick up coil, and the stator are under the cap. do you have a no spark , no run condition? or are you just curious as to the location?

It's in the top of the distributor cap. Take the wires off of the cap and the cap off of the distributor. Remove the two little screws on top of the cap and lift off the plastic cover, that's the coil right underneath. Good luck.

Drivers edge, below the sprint. you will could desire to eliminate a super plastic conceal linked to the sprint with 2 screws and a wing nut linked to the guidance column bracket. Be arranged to be a contortionist as you would be on your back on the floor finding up. There are 2 fuse packing bins, one super and one small. you will elect a cadillac vendors e book to tell which fuse is going the place. (print on the packing bins very small)
