Xterra's popping?

My Xterra makes a poping rubber band noise when I make a sharp left turn ,any one else have this problem?

Common problem caused by no grease on the steering stops on the lower control arms. Turn steering wheel all the way right Smear grease on the curved stops on each side. Then turn wheels left and get the other two stops one on each side. Four greasy steering stops and that "bonk pop" noise will be gone
