Second hand BMW, but the insurance companies do not like convertibles, easy to get into and steal.

first off the roadster is a convertible, the one that is not a convertible is called a coup. what they mean by quattro is that you have all wheel drive, meaning there is power to all 4 wheels, not just the front two. they say that the coup seats 4, but there is basically no way you can get 4 poeple in that car...unless you have small kids that will be sitting in the back. So basically just look at both models as two seaters (the convertible has no back seat at all) and make your decision based on whether you want a convertible or not. Your boyfriend will probably be okay in that car I'm almost 6'2" (165lbs) and sit confortably in it. Oh he might have to get used to getting in and out of teh car, I've had a bunch of people sit in my car for the first time and hit their head trying to get in....pretty funny. not sure about the brand new TT model, but in the older ones they offered 3 models, one that is a 4 cylinder with 180 hp, one with 4 cylinder and 225 hp, and then the V6 which is 250 hp, all but the first one come in quattro (quattro doesn't mean its a V6). hope this helps

I would expect you could get a late model Astra 51 plate for that sort of money. 4 adults in comfort. Need to check the roof mechanism before you buy on anything like this
