recently i asked this question but left out some details.

I was in a car accident yesterday as a passenger. we were stoped at a stop sign when a woman came and hit us from behind at about 25-30 mph. At the momment i was looking at my boyfriend so my neck made a weird motion. I didn't think any think a bout my neck being hurt so i ignored it. She claimed it as 100% her fault to her insurance. at the time we were in san diego for my bf's birthday and i was angry it was ruined. The driver of the other car's bf ( not involved in accident ) seemed to feel really bad and gave us $100. we did not file a police report since no one was hurt, they said they do not come unless someones injured. later one the way home to LA i realized i have whiplash and today it has only gotten worst. im curious if the 100 the bf gave us will affect any sort of law suit and also what action i should take in order to make a claim and start the process... do i go through my bf's insurance or get my own laywer

save information of it. My daughter have been given approximately 800$ plus scientific charges for a whiplash she suffered as a passenger in an twist of destiny. She had to get actual scientific look after approximately 3 weeks for it, so it replaced right into a substantial situation, yet she's nice now, so it wasn't everlasting harm. the actuality that she replaced into nonetheless a minor might have affected the result too. do not close out the case till you're specific of the full actual outcomes of the whiplash. My daughter replaced into fortunate, some people go through for something of thier lives.

You don't need a lawyer. You probably don't have whiplash (a 25 mph collision would have sent you ALL to the intensive care unit and both vehicles would have been scrap). You probably DO have neck / soft tissue sprain. Remember, there is a huge difference in being hurt and injured. For God's sake see your doctor (not a chriopractor) -- you haven't even been treated and you already want a lawyer involved. He/she/it will only take half of anything you MAY get from the insurance company.

the injury may not be serious right now but from personal experience you need to go see a specialist and have a MRI to determine the extent of the damage. it may feel better but later on in a few years you could face major medical bills. i would suggest seeing a neurologist instead of orthopedic doctor. it's in your best interest to make sure you have no permenant injuries

go see your doctor. it may be some soreness, but not a serious injury then you can decide what to do -- i.e. if you want an attorney, etc. if you don't have insurance, definitely call the other driver's insurance company!
