had a bad relay switch by battery, replaced it. now bike still won't start and if it does after it's ran it won't start at all for a couple of hours, the starter sometimes will spin, or half *** spin and other times turn but don't seem fast enough? the bike when cold will start if I put the charger on it and do a quick 35amp charge to it.

after the bike has been ran down the road and the motor gets warm it still won't start even if the amps are cranked up on the charger. when it's cold it will sometimes start right away, but after that it needs the charger cranked up

Bring the battery to a motorcycle shop.
Have it "load tested" to make sure it has enough cranking amps.
A weak battery might take a charge and show 12 volts.
But it won't have enough strength to crank the engine.
Sounds like that's the problem and the battery needs to be replaced.

Those Hondas had only one earth point. On my 550F it was under the tank just on top of the coils. Check that the earth connection is good, otherwise it causes all kinds of funny behaviour.
