Take your alternator to auto zone have it checked, Take the car while the battery is good and let them check the charging system Sound like to me the alternator is still bad, you can get bad alternator back to back especially when they are re built, good luck

A test light on the big cable to the alternator with engine off will do same test. If the alt fuse is bad, the test light wont light. If test light lights, the fuse is good. Then comes the tests for the wiring. The yellow/white stripe wire is the battery voltage sense wire. The green/red stripe wire is the key on power to turn on the regulator. Both those should have power with the key on. If they do, there is a ground here to test screw on the regulator, ground it and the alt should go to full charge. If not, the alt is bad....if it does, the regulator is bad. If no power on the wires, trace the wiring harness, there is an open circuit

There is a fuse in the under the hood fuse box. It is on the side if the fuse box under a seperate cover that slides up.If you are Facing the engine on the left side of the fuse box is the slide up cover. When lifted you will see the alternator wire and another thick battery cable. The fuse is behind the wires. To check lift cover and check for power on both sides.

I have had this problem with a few cars. And the problem was always caused by a missing, detatched or broken engine to chassis ground wire.
It should be a braided-uninsulated wire bolted to the engine and the other end bolted to the firewall or frame.

Take the battery to any store that sells them other than Auto Zone and ask for a free *load test to see what the reserve amperage capacity is.

You should also have the electrical system checked. The alternator might not be hooked up right.
