Keeps turning over, no start. Fuel pump turns on. Battery is fine. Injectors are fine. I figure the fuel filter is bad or fuel pump is on it's way. Any insight?

My boyfriend got into an accident around V-day in which the airbag deployed. Here's what his dad wants to do:

1. Cut out the airbag and put a metal plate in the steering wheel, then duct tape the hole.

2. Pop a hole in the airbag and shove it back in and duct tape the hole.

How do you suppose we convince him that is not safe and illegal to do? Everything we have told him he says is a crock of crap and refuses to listen.

We just washed the car and now the rear lights stay on even when we turn the car off. We tried taking out the fuse and putting it back and that didn't work. What could this be? Thanks.

The sad accident which has claimed the lives of 7 people in a chartered bus going through Atlanta was caused apparently by the driver taking an exit ramp thinking it was a traffic lane. How could that have happened?
He HAD to cross the short dashed lines that indicate an exit and there were numerous signs which said EXIT. See the picture with this link.
Are drivers REALLY that stupid? And I suppose the guy was a CDL (commercial driver's license) holder. Is there some other reason, that I don't see?

Suppose we have no oil. We have to go with electric or ethanol for energy. How would your commute be with vehicles that only use electric?? ethanol or both??

Using ethanol may still lead to relying on other countries that can produce it cheaper. But electricity is unlimited and can be manufactured.

If we ran on only electric power, think about how you would commute, refuel and the changes and adaptations to using electric. We would not have to rely on other countries, not have to harm the environment either.

What do you think??
