Hi, I am looking to buy a new bike, and the supplier said they can post it but it comes with the front wheel & handlebars dissconnected. Does anyone know if this is easy to put together. I am fairly handy at this kind of stuff but have never done it on a vehicle that I am going to ride on the streets of london!! Does anyone know if I took it to a garage 'roughly' how much it would cost.
Thanks
Dannie

Recently, my 94' Grand Am V6 3.1 has been having a starting problem and or it cranks over but sputters and dies. When it sets overnight it sometimes takes a few times for the engine to turn over. Once i get it started it runs fine until i shut it off and start it back up a few times, then begins to stall out. I have to pump the accelerator until it starts to idle smooth then its fine. If i don't pump the accelerator when this occurs, the engine will stall like its out of gas. Then it will turn over but die until i let it sit for awhile, then it will start and run fine. I have replaced the plugs and plug wires, battery, altenator is good. I was told it may be the crank sensor so when i tried to replace the one in the engine, it didnt match the 3.1 V6 94grand am engine replacement. The one in the car was significantly smaller than the required replacement which would never match up. When the code where ran at my local shop, it read no rpms with engine running. Any suggestions

I'll sometimes use it to slow down when theres a cop behind me and I don't want to slam on my brakes and make it obvious. Just wondering if it's ok to do.

Been riding since the 60's. Hardcore bikers kept HD alive during the 70's. Now they want nothing to do with us. All they care about is selling t-shirts, jewelery and "motorclothes" to the posers FTF

I have a 95 Honda Prelude. I recently spent a ton of money fixing everything that was wrong with it. Steering rack, all brakes, power steering pump seals, and most importantly, my clutch. I drove it after being fixed for about 90 miles and then it started popping out of 5th gear and into neutral on me. It was also making a funny noise in or around the tranny too. It always grinded going into 5th but never popped out until after they replaced my clutch. I called the place back and they said that they don't hear a noise and they drove it on the interstate for a while and it never popped out of gear for them. Is there anyway that my sycroles got worse just from them taking out the tranny? How about the throw out bearing? If anyone ahs any ideas I would l.ove to hear them ASAP as I have an appointment this morning at the place to take it out for a ride with them to see if it pops out of gear again. Thank you kindly.

I make a serious mistake.

I bought a car in Melbourne last week, which is still owe money on. I paid cash, then she saved money to the account of loan company at once, and told me everything is ok. I have no experience and trusted her for her local accent.

But when I checked the account in loan company 3 days later, I found she had taken the money out of the account. When I called the former owner, she refused to pay off the loan at once. I called police and sent her a laywer letter. My laywer tells me it is easy to win this lawsuit, but he finds the son of ***** is a drug addict, has no job, no own house, no money. So even if I pay for laywer fee($5000) and win the lawsuit, maybe I can't get anything.

I don't know how to do it. If she doesn't pay off the loan in the future, will the loan company take away my car? If I win the lawsuit, but she doesn't have money to pay me or loan company too, will the loan company take away my car?

I'm looking for an email address for Mazdz UK to discuss the problems I experienced with premature failure of shell bearings. I can only find a telephone number and as I am in Malaysia for another two weeks it is of no use to me at the moment. I can only assume that Mazda do not give out an email address as this would record any complaints.

Hello.

While at idle, (cold or hot), the engine RPMs drop and raise-sometimes it shuts off...Starts right up though... air sound is aperent but no "leaks"- of any kind.

While accelerating from a stop,- power come in pulses, (i had thought it was the transmission-torq converter)...

Once at freeway speeds it seems fine but it then starts to "hesitate" and it still shut off once- starts right up though...

So i had asked similar ?'s i now dont think it's my transmission, i think it may be a sensor, or somthing else???

Later on today I will "rent" the OBD1 and run a check/test on my truck... if i find the trouble i will try to replace it myself...as for the trans, i'm still gonna have the fluid/filter completely flushed.

Thanks for your time let me know what you may think the trouble is.> By the way, truck was babied by a grand father, never drove hard, has 104,635 miles, complete tune-up done about 4 monthsago, no leaks of any kind, no smoke, no overheat,
Nada.

My best friends Ford Courier is leaking gearbox oil into the transfer case. Can any one tell me if there is an overflow pipe that can be purchased. The pipe links the transfer case back to the gearbox and thus causes a constant flow back system. Toyota Landcruisers have a similar part available.
Thanks

Why is it that some people answer 3 years that they can be removed? Where does it say that? If you look here it clearly says 4 years http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/DriverLicensing/EndorsementsAndDisqualifications/DG_4022550 Where do people get 3 years from? Provide a link please.

GM killed it and todaay announced they will have an electric car by 2010 but also stated a 10% chance it won't work and will only go 40 miles. It's a dirty joke on the public. OIl and money controls us. They don't care if it makes the middle east rich and pollutes our air. It's all about money. I wouldn't buy a GM car or any of their products. The whole deal STINKS! What say you?

When the vehicle is started in the morning, especially when it is cold, the engine rpm's are excessively high. I replaced the throttle position sensor, but that didnot help. Is there a procedure to adjust the computer program. I have a OBDII tester, but the manuals both dodge and OBDII say nothing about how it is done.
