Whatever they lined my Harley Sportster Gas Tank with is flaking off inside the tank, and keeps clogging my petcock. I have rinsed it out but it just keeps flaking and clogging.

Back in December (I think December 19th) of 2006, I took my driving test, but only the written test. I was really close to getting my permit, I passed the test... but since I didn't have my contacts or glasses with me, I couldn't pass the vision test. So they gave me a paper telling me I have to get a vision test before I can get the permit....
My question is, it now being March, is it too late to take the vision test? Will I have to take the written test all over again because I waited too long to get my contacts/glasses? Or could I just go back and take the vision test with no problem?

Please and thank you.

I have a light diesel truck for about a week when I started the truck in the morning the battery light came on for abut a minute or so. I canged the battery the same problem is still there but only happens in the morning when I start the car all day afterwards there is no problem. the truck does almost 300 K's a day and its switched on and off about 30 times but starts straigt away and no light at all. Changed the battery only thing left is the alternator. Anyone had the same issue?

My sister has just got her provisional licence and since my car is currently being fixed (and she can't afford lessons yet) I wondered if there was a game or something online that will help her understand the clutch, changing gears and how to drive, basically. I don't really want to have to download something so it would be good if it was a "game" you play online rather than download and play.

Considering the Season is beginning this weekend in Daytona!! Moto GP is here too!!! Come on Yahooooo. We are not second class race fans here. Even Hemingway would agree that 'racing is a sport while everything else is a game'!

My Toyota Matrix seems too bumpy ever since I put in the lowering springs. Well, it was somewhat bumpy before with the factory springs. If I get some new shocks will my car drive much smoother, or are most small cars naturally bumpy--unfortunately.

I sold my firebird, but I still have the crankshaft that came from the motor. The crankshaft is from my 68 Pontiac Firebird 400 motor, my motor ran super strong when it was in my firebird and I want that kind of power from my 69 Chevy Impala SBC 350. I am planning on an engine rebuild for my 350 within the next month or so and I want more power from my motor, I realized that I still had my crank from my Pontiac 400. I am guessing that this would add instant power as the crank is bigger, but Im not sure if this will work. Besides, I would have no use for the crank if I didnt ask to see if this would work first. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. My 69 convertible Impala is pretty heavy, so I want a strong, more powerful, and more stout 350 upon rebuilding.

1996 3.8L V6 engine Thunderbird.... Car overheats, Gets terrible gas mileage, Check engine light is on and water-like substance dripping from muffler. Radiator was flushed, oil was changed, new spark plugs were installed when I bought car, so I don't see nasty brown milkshake in the oil which is usually sign of head gasket problem, also no "white smoke/steam" from muffler just drips of water

Any additional tips would be appreciated. This is what I know: 1. Look at the tires for tire evenness. 2. Look at transmission oil to make sure it's pink/red and not black and smelly indicating a bad transmission. 3. Match VIN number from winshield to engine, doors, trunk. 4. Run my fingers through the paint on the hood cover to see if the car was repainted indicating that the car was hit in the front. 5. Check AC/heater to make sure they're working. 6. Look out for noisy engine. 7. Take it to a mechanic. 8. Perform an oil change before buying to see if engine makes noise, to make sure that the seller didn't put thick oil in it to hide the noise. 9. Look for leaks. 10. Look for paint shade uneveness. 11. Oil change stickers and maintainance receipts. 12. Carfax history. 13. If car was a lease (usually those guys don't take care of their cars!) ANY OTHER TIPS ANYONE? I ALREADY GOT BURNED ONCE BY AMIN AUTO GROUP IN ANAHEIM. ANY OTHER TIPS PLEASE? THANKS!
