1996 3.8L V6 engine Thunderbird.... Car overheats, Gets terrible gas mileage, Check engine light is on and water-like substance dripping from muffler. Radiator was flushed, oil was changed, new spark plugs were installed when I bought car, so I don't see nasty brown milkshake in the oil which is usually sign of head gasket problem, also no "white smoke/steam" from muffler just drips of water

Start with the check engine light trouble codes. Could be seeing it overheat do to a faulty temp sending unit or bad coolant temp sensor causing it to run rich.

if its overheating, its the fan motor, or thermastat. i have a 1995 cougar with 4.6 but i also had a 96 cougar with the v6. same car different trim lol for the terrible gas milage try new air filter, check engine light is most likly an O2 sensor. and as for the water drips i dont know but the car sounds ok from the video clip. it had a smooth idle and rev. it ur water level doesnt drop then i wouldnt worry to much about it. if ur still concerned take it to a shop and have them check it out, should be cheap or free to check it.

I would have a compression test done on the engine. It sounds like a head gasket or intake manifold gasket leaking. Get it checked before you are stranded on the road. It can happen and has to me.
