I think its a w208 or 200 not sure though.

The Mercedes CLK at that time was called the W208.

However, I just found an article that says theres a C208, which was model based on the W202 (90's C Class) sold around the same time as a CLK.

It was followed by the W209, which is based on the C Class (W203).

The 200, 200 Kompressor, 230, 320, 500 and CLK55 AMG depict the engine info., not the model type...

clk 200 , or 230 or it ecan even be a 280

Go to Mercedes web site, if you wan't a for sure answer, I would'nt trust anyone else's word except for their's
