I had an accident in my car in January and wrote it off, I am in the middle of claiming through my insurance company and have got to the stage where i have to send off all my documents. Ive just realised that my MOT expired in October 2006!
Does anyone know where i stand with the insurance company ? I dont know if this will invalidate my insurance totally or if they may give me a lower settlement, or if I will be liable for the cost of the car and the damage the car caused in the accident. I dont think this can be that uncommon, but i do advise anyone to check there MOT is in date because worst case this could cost me thousands !!!!

my 2003 6i 2.3 has a cracked intake cam and the tech at the local dealer said it is due to oil starvation so they wont warranty it but i have proof of oil change 2500 miles ago. I can not provide proof of service prior to that because i am not the originaI owner. I have the car at another shop and there is absolutely no signs of abuse or lack of oil, upper engine is clean and there is no bluing or heat spots. Oil jackets are clean and clear. I called 800# and they are stone walling me. They say that this can only be caused by lack of maintenance. Somebody please give me some advise. Thanks P.S still have 6 months left on warranty and 8k left also.

i am in a upside car loan by about 13k i have a 2001 cadillac seville sts with 44k miles on it and owe 21k on it. i am paying 19% interest on it and need help refinancing, or finding a better situation.i took the car bc i was told i would be able to refinance it after one year by the dealership who said he would do it for me. now they are not helping. what can i do to get myself out of this situation or at least into a better one anyone plzzzzzz help. i also have not made any late payments on the car or any of my other bills for that matter, and i have about 1yr worth of credit which is about a 670.

Ive got a peugeot 306 xsi 2 litre 1994 M reg. The heater inside the car does not work for the windscreen.
I twist the switch to the windscreen and you can here the heater blowing but no air comes out what so ever.

Ive checked the fuses and they are all ok.

Would it be anything to do with the earth wire?

Any ideas?

it doesn't tell me anything about RMS watts or peak watts
i need an amp but i have no freakin clue what to get
all it says is 400 watts ..??


my friend told me the bass would sound a lot better if i got 1000 watt amp so should i get that or just get a 2 channel 400 watt amp??

now that i figured out i can afford door poppers, i was wondering how hard they would be to install on my 1994 ford ranger.i am moderate at car knowledge and not looking for a very hard or long instalation process. I understand how the electric car works, but why can't they make them stylish? I have yet to see one electric car that i would want to drive. I am for change. I am for alternative fuel, but there is no excuse for the odd designs that have come off the assembly lines. The reason nobody will buy one is because they're UGLY CARS! How come an electric car can't look like a scion, accord, or a sentra? I am starting to wonder, is it just pressure from the oil companies to try and stall change?

hey i was wondering what all you need to be able to remotly(sp) pop open your doors.i found door popper by themselves for $15 each.i could buy something a autozone that would make it remote accessable.would i need anything else to make them work properly?
