i own a 2007 CR-V and it is the best car i've had. Although the Jeep Patriot is very cheap, it is a Jeep, so it will not be as reliable as the Honda and in the long run the Honda will take less money to maintain. The CR-V also has a far superior exterior and interior, with standard features that the Jeep does not have, such as an in-dashboard display center and MP3 capability.
I would highly recommend the CR-V.

I don't actually own a CR-V, but all Honda's are built well and will last a long time. Jeeps on the other hand, are built cheaply and will break down a lot. It takes a lot of money to maintain a Jeep and you get nothing in return for it. Daimler Chrysler (which includes Jeep) is currently struggling to survive. No one wants to buy their vehicles because they don't build them to last. That's why they're going under. Trust me, go with the CR-V. You won't regret it.

I just bought the Patriot last weekend and I love it. The gas mileage is great - averaging 24 per gallon right now in all city and traffic driving. I have the upgraded stereo which is MP3 capable and the stock stereo has an input jack for your MP3 palyer. I used to own a Cherokee - 1999 - and I never had a problem with it - my little brother is driving it now and it is still a great car. The Patriot is also very roomy inside - something you don't see too often in small SUV's.

I recently researched the Cr-V and am going to buy one myself. You cant get a better car, although they are a little pricy, its worth it considering it will last you forever. I also know a handfull of people who own Cr-V's and they could not be happier.
Ive never heard anything bad about them. and i have had all negative experiences with jeeps.
go with the Cr-v, you cant go wrong with honda.. dang i should be a spokesperson haha

Jeeps stopped being Jeeps when Chrysler started making them. In Consumer Reports, Chrysler Corporation vehicles are the worst in all categories and few are listed as good used cars. The head of Daimler Chrysler was asked by a reporter "how do you pronounce Daimler Chrysler?" his reply 'Daimler- the Chrysler is silent.

If you do a LOT of off roading and mud driving, get the Jeep. Otherwise get the CR-V. Much better vehicle nicer to drive, better quality, better resale.
