Ive got a peugeot 306 xsi 2 litre 1994 M reg. The heater inside the car does not work for the windscreen.
I twist the switch to the windscreen and you can here the heater blowing but no air comes out what so ever.

Ive checked the fuses and they are all ok.

Would it be anything to do with the earth wire?

Any ideas?

Thanks

There are flaps that direct the air to where you want it. The cable is probably not hooked up, or if its vacuum operated the hose that actuates the flaps is not on or is loose. Check under the dash and see what you need to fix it.

Same year i got my peugeot, I'd never buy one again as mine just fell to bits. and Peugeot customer services don't read letters. Sounds like you have an air blockage more than a fault. Just have a good look for the route the air will take. Otherwise, could the air be going down instead, as in the direction slider is duff?

Sounds like the cable that opens the flap for the hot air has come off.

There are quite a few reasons why you wouldn't want to try 106 springs on your 306. They might not fit, period(not long enough, won't fit spring cups) They probably won't be able to handle the extra weight.
