A Hyundai with 231'000 on the clock should be in a museum.

I would not even bother purchasing it. Anything passed 200k is reason to walk away. The car has limited time remaining, before it needs a major overhaul, like a new engine. Its a sonata, you can buy them cheap new...So just imagine if you keep searching for a better used one.

Not very much. It's just about worn out at 231k and one that age wasn't much of a car to start with.
