Keeps turning over, no start. Fuel pump turns on. Battery is fine. Injectors are fine. I figure the fuel filter is bad or fuel pump is on it's way. Any insight?

Thanks for the input but those were all the obvious problems that I eliminated already. As I worked through this problem cancelling out possibilities one by one I found the problem. 4 of 6 injectors plugged all at once. How you ask? The charcoal filter near the fuel tank blew out. Then sent particles through the fuel tank, pump, fuel filter, lines and injectors. Since the vehicle has 101k and plugs, wires, cap, rotor and 3 o2 sensors are all getting replaced add the above list of fuel system parts plus flushing out the fuel tank and lines, oh yeah, an intake manifold gasket that decided to spring a leak in the past week. This will be a bizzare and costly repair.

There's a little valve that looks sort of like a tire valve on the fuel line near the injectors. You can stick something in there to see if you have fuel pressure. Wear safety glasses when you do.

Check the connections where the plug wires connect to for rust or corrosion and clean them with a wire brush etc.I'd be treating the fuel system with something like STP or Lucas fuel treatment , then after using up a few tanks of fuel change the fuel filter on it. Also make sure that the charging system connections a the battery , starter , alternator , and engine block ground and all other grounds are good on it too. Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way even a slightly loose belt can cause more fuel consumption or wheels that aren't balanced properly or sticky brakes or a fuel pressure or fuel regulating valve that isn't working correctly etc. It might not hurt to have a free scan performed on just in case any error codes exist.

The first steep is to scan the truck key on engine off. With a common OBDII code reader u should be able to retrieve any trouble codes. This will give u a much more answerable platform to ask a better question. Your local parts house should carry OBDII code readers 100$-200$ depending the features. Good luck!

Check these websites for service bulletins and similar owner complaints. It could be body control computer or ignition switch security problems as just one possibility. A spark tester is shown below if you have plug wires on your model. You can check fuel pressure with a shop gauge.

Possibly bad solenoid? You should perform a Starter Draw Test and Voltage Draw Test

Make sure the security light is not lit on your instrument panel. If it is, you may have a failed ignition switch. A failed ignition switch (security coded) will allow spark, fuel pressure but no pulse at the injectors.
Good Luck

similar problem with 97 gmc sonoma v6 and 245 000 miles. with engine cold or after a few hours since run, starter cranks normally but engine doesnt lite off. one shot of carb cleaner at throttle plate and it lites off at quarter turn. runs fine otherwise. suspect inadequate prime charge. no fault codes. battery bus reads 12.43 volts (batt replaced sept 06 due worn). with key at on position and after 2 seconds time delay of pump run, measured fuel pressure within haynes manual limit of 60 psig. coolant temp sensor within ohmic value limits, air intake temp sensor within ohmic value limits, throttle position sensor voltage output linear and within limits, manifold air pressure sensor voltage output linear and within limits. fuel injectors ohmic value within limits (12 ohms). added fuel injector cleaner thru 2 full tanks of gas, no help, replaced fuel filter again, no help. tore open old fuel filter and found clean. replaced fuel metering body pressure regulator precautionary due unable to check, no help. replaced 6 each injector assembly precautionary due unable to check injectors poppet valve trip pressure, no help. poppet valves visually inspected when removed and found clean/shiny. fuel pressure recheckd with parallel power source ( jumpered to other vehicle with its engine running and providing 14volts). measured fuel pressure 62 psig and bus voltage at 13.45 volts prior to selecting key to on position. selected on position 2 seconds or better followed by start position and engine started normally. replacing fuel pump/ fuel qty xmitter assembly resolved problem.
ensure new pump is oem part only (delco). any after market
pump pressure output seems to deteriorate over time.
1-2 psig output difference in the start mode determines whether or not injectors poppet valve unseats or not.
