I got into a wreck, no seriously. When the tester got in the car I forgot to put my car in reverse so when I hit the gas I ran over the curb and hit a pole as we were trying to start the test. He still let me take the test but after the accident I was so scared I failed miserably. A week later when I took it again I knew I had to do better then last time and I passed with flying colors. I don't know about all these herbal remedies, but showing up hung over is a very bad idea. If they smell even a little left over alcohol on you they can have you tested and if you have already driven and you test positive for even a little alcohol they will revoke your DL till you are 21. Just remember allot of people fail the first time, expect to, just accept the fact that you are going to fail your first try and it will put less pressure on you.

It's a tuffy, I have been sitting driving tests since I was 15, 37 years ago, I drive trucks, and have to resit my licence every time I go up a size.
2 things I know, you will not be asked to do anything that you haven't already practised, and once the test gets underway your nerves will settle.
I would avoid any sedative, you'll need to be sharp, and listen closely to your instructions, don't get to chatty, it will take your mind off your driving.
Don't listen to people who tell you certain things will cause a fail, its all done on points, I ran over a gutter in a big rig because I didn't hear the guy say turn left, he overlooked it because it was my only fault, and he believed I hadn't heard his instruction.
stay cool, calm and collected. Good luck!

well i just got my g2, but when i did my driving test it was only about 15-20 minutes. Just practise alot before hand until you feel comfortable and confident behinde the wheel lol.. When you hop in the car just listen to what she tells you, ask a few questions that you want to know before you start, just to make yourself not too freaked out. The parking is prolly the most nerve racking, the driving it self isnt that bad. Check your blind spots everytime you are signalling, exaggerate when you are scanning intersections Left, center, right. Look in your mirrior every few seconds. In conclusion your basically being tested on your observation skills..
GOOD LUCK, hope you pass.

Don't think of it as a test or of the examiner as a bad person wanting to fail you. Just think about being out for a drive and someone giving you directions. The Examiner is not there to fail you, if you show him/ her that you are a safe driver he/she will pass you with great pleasure. Don't take any kind of medication to calm you down for your drive, as this can make you very lethargic

I thought everyone paid someone else to take the tests nowadays.
Get a good instructor they will prepare you properly.
My son was a very nervous pupil, but passed on the first try and is now an advanced motorist.

I was so nervours on my 1st test i drove on the wrong side of the road on my way out of the test centre!!! lol failed obviously!
On my 3nd I had some betablockers prescribed by my GP and failed for driving too fast - I had no fear lol
I passed on my 4th did something silly thought I had failed starting chatting to the examiner and having a laugh and stopped worrying and drove ok.
Try to talk to them to calm your nerves - they are just people
Good luck

I passed third time and was nervous for each! Chat to the tester to break the ice, and just try to imagune your with ure instructor, or just a different one! One tip, don't worry if he is marking on his clip board! That made me nervous because i fihured they were faults, but they weren't! Good Luck!

I didn't, that's why it took me 4 goes - although I passed my advanced test first time. Try Bach's rescue remedy, I'm finding it very helpful with my anxiety at the moment. You can also try Kalms, and I'm sure there are plenty of other herbal remedies available.
Good luck.

Do not do this!!
But i was really hungover when i took my third and passed. Apparently I was a little too much of an aggressive driver on the first two tests. The raging hangover made me a little more docile

after my buddies ribbing me for blowing it somany times, I just kept thinking, this time will be different. In my head, I kept track of what the manual said, and the reality around me at the moment.
When the Browney says you passed and says it with a smile, Its a cool feeling.
Now comes the desire to drive like an animal. that will be a big hurttle to deal with
