Its hard to advise on this matter,, Mostly as you probably know the XC eats Tyre's and pad's like there's no tomorrow, they will not be covered, not all model come into electric fault's, iv replaced rear electronic module's, yaw sensors, abs sensors, s,r,s module's, seat belt stalk's, abs module's, there is alot of repair's that could cost alot of money,, it's the luck of the draw mate,,, you could get lucky, take into account the price of the extension and work out the pro's and con's of buying it..also ask for a list of what is covered, all wear and tear part's normally dont.just out of a matter of interest how much is it??

most aftermarket warranty company's have specific exclusions that if read into mean -NO PAY- most independent shops will not submit the claims [customer pays then must submit the claim themselves] reimbursement has taken several months on occasion. some plans are just too aggravating to deal with period. With all this being said your car is a high tech luxury vehicle [meaning there is a lot that could go wrong besides the drive train] so if the plan you purchase covers all drive train and electronic component's it will be expensive. the car in question is 4 yrs. old. how long do you plan to keep it ? is it still eligible for a warranty? most plans only go up to 100k miles .
