five main ways--non restrictive exhaust,a less restrictive air cleaner,a turner box, increase tire size, or install a gear vender (over drive)on the rear of the transmission. i like the gear vender over-drives, that way you can split all the gears

All Powerstroke diesels are turbocharged. The powerstroke was first available in 1994 when Ford released 3 different 7.3l engines in one year, the 7.3 indirect injection (naturally aspirated called an IDI) available from 87-94, the 7.3 indirect injection turbo (called the IDIT) available from 93-94 , and the 7.3 direct injection turbo (called a DIT or Powerstroke) available from 94-2004.

Make sure you stay on top of changing your air filter and oil.
you can also buy a ''Tornado" for your air intake, there pretty cheep or buy a new after market air intake system. I would suggest K 'n' N. It makes a big difference.
