I'm 12. Can't decide what i want in life. Can't even decide what my favourite colour is.

Looking for a high-paying career that isn't boring. *Sigh* Everything's boring, these days...

There were 8 candidates including me, they all took max 10 minutes, mine took about 5 minutes... What does it tell you?
Positive or negative...

I'm not keeping my hopes up, if I get the job I will praise the Lord, if I don't get the job, I will still praise the Lord.

I started a new job and I am still in the 90 day grace period and well its not working out for me. I am ready to quit, how do I go about it in the most professional way?

The job isn't what I expected from the job interview, I am underpaid for most of it and not quailified for some of it. They were supposed to train me, but have failed to do so and now I am pregnant and X-mas I broke my ankle (plus had surgery on it) and it is the size of a softball from being on it all day and the ortho Dr said he wont do anything until I complete therapy on my ankle 3-5 times a week for at least 8 weeks!!!!

How do I be honest but professional about it?

BTW my husband makes enough money for me not to work, i went back because I was bored after being a stay at home mom, but now I miss it. I miss my son and now theres a second one on the way!

I am posting for a job internally where I work and one of the job qualifications listed is a "sense of humor". It goes on to say something like, "if you don't like to laugh, you won't like it in such-in-such group". The rest of the qualifications are serious in nature and I guess they thought they would throw this in for fun...I don't know. Either way, I can't leave that section blank and I'm looking for a way to respond to this that doesn't sound too goofy, but also lets them know that I do have a fun side. Can anyone help me with a decent response to what I consider to be an odd thing to put on a job qualification list? Thanks!

I like something that involves community health/community welfare/community work ( like helping the poor etc) and something that involves field work - not a desk Job. What kind of Degree should I look into and what kind of Career options do I have. I basically have a strong desire to help people make their lives better. Should I consider a joint degree in Public health and something else?

Thanks in advance

Recently, I started a new job. By the 4th day, most people wanted me to just know everything without hestiation. As I result, I freaked out and messed up. Looking back on it, almost every job I had has been like this. You go in, train for a few days, and then they automatically think you should be able to perform at least 85%.

I'm educated and will have my bachelor's degree in 6 months. But, also every job I have had, has been like this. I ended up learning the most, by making mistakes AFTER my training.

Do you think this is wrong? Do you think training programs at companies/businesses need to be more consistent.

I'm writing a 15 pg research paper on illegal immigration. Here's what I have so far. Would this be enough for 15 pages?

- Quotes of farmers who say how these illegals help them
- They are doing jobs that Americans won’t don
- Get dirty. Working under the sun under severe duress.
- Statistics of migrant farm workers.
- Started in 1950s with a law passed between the US and Mexico which brought in several immigrant farmers from Mexico.
- Its just that some of them stayed..

Negatives
- Presence of undocumented people
- Don’t know there whereabouts, track record, history of employment, etc in case there’s a crime.
- Several illegals running away to Mexico (child abductions) Statistics!
- Drug use. Smuggling in. This is their living and how much they earn. Marijuana and cocaine available
- Human trafficing
- Poverty

Is that enough for 15 pages? It looks like I need more tho...any suggestions?

Any positives/negatives of illegal immig. that I should cover??

I would be very grateful if anyone out there can help..

My hubby has just started a job(shipping company). During these 3months, he was told to work most of the time during his off days.

He was told to work 7days a week and sometimes from morning till midnight AND no off days was given at all..
NO OVERTIME PAID ALSO AT ALL! The employer knows that my hubby needs a job urgently as he needs to support me and baby .

As my hubby is a kind hearted person, he didn't go to Ministry Of Manpower to log for a complain. He has no choice but been manipulated by his employer because he has to work in order to support us for that.. I am very concern for his health as he doesn't have enough sleep at all .

How can he able to work in such a irregular hours?
7days a week and is from morning till night! Furthermore, his paid is very low.
I don't earn much either (less than SGD1000 after CPF)
and my hubby's salary is less than SGD$1400 after CPF,
I really don't know how to survive..

I'm going for an MA in Spanish literature, and I'll be teaching university classes. But once I finish, I think I want to live somewhere else for a while, and would most likely pick Latin America or Spain. What kind of jobs could I get? Obviously teaching would be most logical, but do foreign institutions look highly upon US degrees? I would hope that with fluency in Spanish and native English, and functional French, that some type of school would hire me, but I'm not sure if they consider US degrees as valid in their countries. Anyone know where to look, or have any experience with this?

I work for an enginnering company as a drafter. My degree is in industrial design but I want to get into structural engineering. My current boss took me on about 1year ago and has been good to me but I dont get to do alot of structural projects as we do prodominately mechanical things. I have been offered a job with a structural engineering company as a drafter and they support further education. I feel like Im betraying my current boss if I take the job as he has invested money and time into me to get me to the skill level Im at, and he has only just recently started billing me out. I dont know how to tell him that Im leaving.
