I'll soon be a published author of an academic book. Where do I incorporate tht in my resume. I'm applying for a teaching position.

Either under Experience and Achievements or Hobbies. YOu can even put it in the cover letter.

Hi

You need to decide how relevant the book is to your application. The usual principle is to give the more important / persuasive information earlier in the resume. Is it something you want to 'showcase'?

Is the book about the subject you'd be teaching? Better still, is it a book you or other teachers of your subject would use in your work? If so, a reference to it in the objective or skills summary section at the top would promote your obvious expertise - with further details later in the resume.

If it's an academic interest that's unrelated to your teaching but adds to your credence as an academic professional, you might prefer to list it along with certifications, memberships etc after your training and work history.
