Im 20 years old and ive been working at sams club for about 2 1/2 years as a supervisor. I have great retail experience and am a good supervisor. I need to find a job that pays about $10/hour minimum. I looked at BJ's but they dont pay well enough and neither do supermarkets. Costco is a bit of a far drive. Anyone else have any suggestions because Im trying to quit Sams Club. Thanks guys!

Hello,

So I graduate this year (this month) with a degree in Kinesiology (Health Science, Phys-ed, all the same) The problem is that I can't get a job in my field without further education, which I do not want to do right now. I want to get a job where I can be trained in business skills, as a business systems analyst or a consultant of some type. I know that posted jobs only comprise 20% of the jobs available, so I am wondering if anyone has some tips on how I could access entry level business jobs when I don't have a "relevant" undergraduate degree. Thanks so much.

I'm finishing an associate degree in radiologic technology in Spring 2008. After establishing a year or two of experience, I'd like to become a traveling RT. I'm looking for advice on what agencies are best for that.

Every agency claims to be the #1 agency, with the best pay, best housing, best jobs, best locations, etc., and they can't all be telling the truth. Plus when I search for radiography jobs on their websites, most of them come up with zero.

Has anyone actually built a decent career as a traveling RT? I'd like to know more. Thanks!

(I want advice from real x-ray techs, not recruiters, by the way. They'll have their chance later.)

I'm not looking to get rich quick, just make some additional money on the side. I also don't want to have to invest any money initially. I've heard of working for purple heart setting up pick-up appointments.

Should i learn .net or java? Where are going to be more jobs .net or java in future?Currently there are lots mnore jobs for java as i found out from job sites, but i also found articles on internet saying that .net offers better performance and better development enviornment(ide's) etc which make faster application development. java is platform independent but i also heard that the mono project for .net on linux platforms is doing good with support from microsoft. So would java survive in next 5 years ? I plan to learn one of the two technologies . It seems to me that there would be a shorter learning curve to .net than java. Seems there are too many competing technologies(struts/jsf) withjin java itself where as this is not the case with .net. My BIGGEST CONCERN IS THAT I WANT TO LEARN ONE OF THESE AND FIND A JOB AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BUT also plan learning a technology that would survive atleast a few years, so that my exp. counts for atleast some time before outdating. Pls help.

I've just started a new job in quite a male environment. There are 3 girls, 2 are lovely but one I think has taken the umpf about the new girl on the team. She is quite 'princessy' but I am better looking, with a better figure and am doing some work which was previously hers. She's already 'mentioned' that her boyf.'s dad is a big wig in the company and not been terribly helpful. How can I deal with the situation without causing a fuss and really making her let rip ? She doesn't seem that popular with the other girls either.

My husband wants me to go back to work. But I want to raise our daughter. That is why I had a child...to raise her! He says he wants extra money to save. If I do go back to work I want to work part-time and have weekend off. What kind of job could I do. I haven't went to college yet so I only have a high school diploma... Of course I am only 19. The only job experience I have is working in car dealerships and with ADP. Any suggestions? Isn't there some way I can work from home?? I need help!

When hired for this new job at a large pay cut. I was proimised to be put in the position I qualified for as soon as it became available. When position came available. I inquired about it. I was told that I needed to speak a certain language. Several positions have come available since then I have been cut in hours. Before this I was told that I am a great worker for company. However new workers come to me for answers about how to accomplish certain goals. Several workers have been let go because they do not speak a certain language.
