I believe that once someone has paid their debt to society and taken the necessary steps to improve their life, they should be given the same opportunity as anyone else. Unfortunately, not everyone agrees with that.
The best thing I can recommend is that you consider a home business. They're inexpensive to start and you are on a level playing field with the rest of the world. You have only yourself to answer to or explain anything to. You don't have to suffer the humiliation of explaining over and over again about your past mistakes.
You start with a clean slate, put your goals down on paper, and let your mentor guide you through the process. You might be surprised at how quickly you can turn your financial life around!
If you are willing to learn, it's not only your finances that will improve, but every aspect of your life.
