I transferred from a community college majoring in accounting to a university now studying sociology. I became bored and discouraged with accounting and finished all but three classes. I want to say on my resume that I attended this college majoring in accounting, but yet did not graduate, but yet continued my education at another school in another major without it looking so bad. What should I say on the resume or how should it look.

i applied for the cashier spot and it let me pick my interview date lol its 2 morrow!! so wat type of questions do they ask? what should i wear? for anyone who has done an interview with them did u get hired on spot or how long did it take? oh and should i bring my resume?

I am a single parent whose main goal is to obtain a job I like with a high enough income so as to not be dependant anymore. I am graduating with a bachlors in sociology in december of 07. I want to get a masters in family and consumer science. I would like to teach women and children or work in healthcare/public health. I don't really know exactly what I want to be when I grow up. However, I have been part time for so long i need money to improve my quality of life, but the saying goes the longer you stay out, you won't go back. What should I do, i don't have a great GPA, single with three kids, and the masters program is a fast track one year program.

I would really love to work in the airport environment- can anyone give me advice as to how to apply and whats available - particularly terminal 4 at JFK international airport - thank you - anyone working there now have any experience or advice to share, entry level positions, etc, I am willing to start anywhere (cleaner, customer service, ) and move my way up - I just really love the airport environment - what jobs are available for those with their bachelors degree? is there an employment sector? thank you again

EVERYTHING WAS FINE AT WORK UNTILL I GOT A PIERCING ON MY LOWER LIP... AS SOON AS MY BOS SAW IT HE SAID TO TAKE IT OFF I TOLD HIM THAT I COULDN'T. After 7 years of thinking about it I have finally decided to pursue a career in Information Technology. I have come across what sounds to be a good IT training course with a good provider. I am ready to commit but still a little unsure. Is there anyone out there who could vouch for any particular IT training provider? Have you gained employment and how difficult was it finding your first IT job?

I have been 14 since January and i am really wanting to have a job this summer. I am going to be completly bored and want to know if any stores or buisinesses hire at age 14. I live in South Carolina. And I am really good with computers and technology, so i was thinking about Best Buy, Comp USA etc. But i think they don't hire until 16+. I definatly do not want to work in fast food.

I'm 25, just getting out of the mortgage industry after the huge sub prime disaster...I was thinking about going back to school rather than try to look for a new job, my pops suggested i try business school...what are your thoughts? (from people that have attended and are in the workforce now) is it that beneficial to go to business school? thanks in advance

Hi everyone

I have recommended a friend of mine to my manager.

He interviewed her 3 weeks ago, he is now on holiday for a week and not back until the Easter Break.

My manager has since interviewed someone else last week Thursday and she started today, Monday.

My friend keeps texting me, asking for the managers email address, she does not seem to care that he is on holiday.. abroad with his family.

She has also asked for his mobile number, next she will be asking for his home address!!

She is really persistent and acting like I have the control and the power to give her the job,.

I personally think, the manager is not interested but because she is my friend he does not know how to tell me.

She is texting me every 5 minutes literally, asking me to put in a good word for her and she is stressing out!

What do you guys think??

I am 24 and working full time as a financial analyst. I have been looking into getting both a master's in econ and an MBA. I figure I could get a master's in econ in the next 2 1/2 years, while working full time, and then begin my MBA, possibly management or finance. The master’s would come from a very reputable private college and then I would have to make the decision to either go full time for the MBA, and look into out of state institutions, or go part time to my state university.. Does this make sense? I would complete both degrees by the time I was 31. Along with that my career path would allow me to potentially enter and complete a 3 year Financial Development Program shortly after completing the master’s. Any advice on whether the two degrees would make a difference compared to just getting one would help. I see my career continuing in finance, either in investments, corporate finance, or business development (i.e. Corp M&A)
