By doing jobs that you might not love so much, figuring out what you love (and hate) about each of them, asking questions of others in the company about what they do and what THEY love and hate about their jobs.
Once you're armed with all of this info, you target the role that has the most stuff that you love and the least stuff that you don't. You figure out what it takes to get you there - more education? a certification? a professional mentor? and you get those things taken care of.
Then you do it all over again every time you get bored with your current job, moving up (or laterally) along a career path.
The book "What Color Is Your Parachute?" has a lot of exercises and models to help you figure out what those things are that you love to do.
Your local library probably has a copy that you can borrow for free.
Good luck!

I sell the Pampered Chef and I love it! I've been doing it since Feb. '05. The products are fabulous, and the kit is only $155 and you get more than $500 worth of stuff! On average you earn $100 per show anyway, so you'd make that money back quickly. For more info, you can e-mail me or check out www.pamperedchef.biz/ candiceskitchen
Hope this helps!

You know a lot of that is a personal choice. Make the choice to see the positive in things and you will be happier.
Most unhappy people that I know actually seem to spend their time looking for things to be unhappy about.
You can choose to love or hate your career.

You should consider what your hobbies and personal interests are. If you have had them for life, then perhaps those are fields you should look into.
