Hi,
i am getting undergraduate degree in Math (i just love math :) )from Canadian university...i just want to ask that do banks hire students with Math degree (BSc) or only students with business degree?
I am planning to stay one more year and do BA in Econ as well, would that help to get job in Banks ?

I just want to know what options do i have to besides teaching with BSc in math and Econ....

A BS degree is the important part; whether it is finance (math) or businss shouldn't make that much difference.

What will make a difference is experience. Try to get a part time job in any financial institution; it really doesn't matter what.

Try a temporary staffing agency and see if they have any openings that are close to your target profession. Even if that temp job doesn't go anywhere, it will look good on your resume and you will have a reference to use. It will put you miles ahead of other recent grads with only McDonalds on their resume.

Good Luck
