I need to know how many hours of CE are required for a pharmacy technician in Alabama. Thanks to all who respond.

I believe it's 20 hours. That reminds me, I need to do mine again!

I think it is the same in all states because every pharmacy technician needs to be certified by the nationally recognized certification board (PTCB).

A licensed pharmacy tech in IL needs 0 hours of CEs.
A certified pharmacy tech by the PTCB needs 20 hours every 2 years, I believe.

whilst it comes time to resume you Technician license, the Board of Pharmacy would or won't ask for data of CE certificates. that is as much as you to confirm you have sufficient credit each 365 days, and save all of them.
