I live in Tennessee how much wilI get payed,what all will I do at my job..Just some basic qustions like that.

my mother is a vet. tech and has been for many years. depending on where you work depends on what you will do. you would take vital sign of the animals, assist vet on surgeries, you will have to euthanize unwanted or sick animals. im sure a vet tech will answer you question more . i would start by volunteering at your local animal shelter and follow and learn from someone there.....good luck....i can tell you that she is a supervisor of a research lab and she makes 28.00 an hour, but this is whith years of exeperience......

you might want to go to school to become a vet tech first. it would be a lot easier rather than starting from the ground up. i am going to school starting on september 4th and will go for 18 months straight and have my associate's degree and will be a vet tech. :)
