I would be very grateful if anyone out there can help..

My hubby has just started a job(shipping company). During these 3months, he was told to work most of the time during his off days.

He was told to work 7days a week and sometimes from morning till midnight AND no off days was given at all..
NO OVERTIME PAID ALSO AT ALL! The employer knows that my hubby needs a job urgently as he needs to support me and baby .

As my hubby is a kind hearted person, he didn't go to Ministry Of Manpower to log for a complain. He has no choice but been manipulated by his employer because he has to work in order to support us for that.. I am very concern for his health as he doesn't have enough sleep at all .

How can he able to work in such a irregular hours?
7days a week and is from morning till night! Furthermore, his paid is very low.
I don't earn much either (less than SGD1000 after CPF)
and my hubby's salary is less than SGD$1400 after CPF,
I really don't know how to survive..

Utterly a case of overtly compassionate towards the conniving employer. If the employer refuses to remedy the situation after discussing with him/her of your expectation, please advise your husband to lodge a complaint to MOM immediately and make a police report on the employer's ill treatment

Note that inadequate or lack of sleep can lead to diabetes, insomnia, hypertension, thyroid, and skin diseases. I would like to emphasize that this is not a joke and your husband must die die understand the cause and effect of this deficiency.

in such cases, i have learned to burn bridges behind. that is, simply resign in order to get a better job. better need not necessarily mean greener pastures. don't worry much about the subjective money, go after the family needs, it - the opportunity -will crop up, pray and trust in the divine providence
