I am having a difficult time trying to find a job that will pay the bills and also allow me to be there for my kids, I have passed up several opportunities because of this. I just got hired by Aflac insurance as a sales agent. I am really not a sales person, I am just running out of options. Does anyone have any ideas about good jobs for working moms, or any feedback about working for Aflac? Thanks.

Im at a community college, and to get into the nursing program I have to take 2 years of pre-reqs, then go on a waiting list for a year, then start the 2 years nursing school program. There has to be a faster way? I've already finished one year of my pre-reqs.

Ok, so I managed to pull through a 1st interview with a pretty large well-known company. They told me that they would contact me with a decision within the next week. That was a month ago. A few days ago they called me in for a 2nd interview. What will this interview be about anyone? Has anyone been through more than two interviews? What kind of questions will they ask?

I have been employed on many temp contracts recently and been paid a lot of money. However, when I get to work, there is nothing to do. This is puzzling to me? Why do people employ temps if there is no work to be done? I cannot stand this as I need to be busy.

In a few days, I have an interview for an entry level fund raising job with a major non-profit organization. I have a few interviews under my belt, but all of those were for corporate positions. Are there any types of questions that I should expect that I may not hear when interviewing with a corporation? Thanks.

After 29 years of employment, I retired. My final paycheck included my salary, vacation, sick, comp time, insurance, union dues and etc. With all the various benefits that I was being paid for & deducted, I had no idea that there was an overpayment, nor did my former employer until 1 month later. The money is gone (paid off bills) and now they have discovered their error, but have not indicated what amount is in question but have said they paid for all the sick time earned instead of a % of the sick time. Am I legally reponsible for repayment? Also, income taxes have been paid on the overpayment so how is that worked out if they are reimbursed?

My current job is ok, but I have been here for 2 years and have not seen a raise, not even cost of living. I have moved from department to department and trained new employees who make more money than me!! i dont see this as fair, and I am a great employee who never complains, I am at work on time, and i get my work done. After being thrown into yet another position adn gave me only one day of training for it. I f I mess up on anything, no matter how small it is, they lecture me about accuracy!! I dont enjoy my job and I am underpaid!! I have an interview for this week set up at a company that is a block away!! Should I let my boss know that I have an interview and i need to take an hour off or should i just say i need an hour fro personal time/ I have a feeling that if i tell them they will offer me a raise, which would be nice, but thats how this company is, you only get what you want or deserve if its the last resort, who wants to work for a company like that?

Hi,
I need some advice!
I lost my store approval to work in a shop, which meant not being able to work on a franchise in the store.

Turned up a bit late one saturday morning had quiet a few problems that week, never signed in cos i was late a few times that week, put my stuff in my locker, floor manager calls me over he says grab your stufff - so i did we go down stairs to where you sign in. We speak to the sercuity guy he explains what has happend that i never signed in and i was late quiet a few times that week, my floor manager decides to send me home at this point im a 17yr old lad who has no work experience about this situation, at this time i was thinking he's sacked me here so i went OTT and said to them they're both wankers which was wrong at the time to say that, and i regret it to this day - so after i said that manager says dont come back.

Plz help me, whats the best thing to do to get my Job back, my employer is willing to give me a second chance, but it's up2 store

I work for a company that does not pay their vendors in a timely manner. I work in the accounts payable dept. so I get all the angry calls. I will print the checks but they do not get signed until 2 to 3 weeks later. The company thinks this is ok to do. I do not agree. So when asked why I want to leave in a job interview would it be ok to say. That I do not agree with their method of payment. Or should I say something else...
