Ok, so I managed to pull through a 1st interview with a pretty large well-known company. They told me that they would contact me with a decision within the next week. That was a month ago. A few days ago they called me in for a 2nd interview. What will this interview be about anyone? Has anyone been through more than two interviews? What kind of questions will they ask?

It depends on who is doing the second interview. If, for example, the Human Resources group conducted the first interview, then maybe your potential supervisor will do the second interview. If that's the case, he/she would check on your competence or technical skills for the job and your behavior / attitude. If your second interview will be done by a higher ranked manager, he or she would check on your behavior and fit into the company culture. It is a good idea therefore to inquire who you will meet for the second interview so that you can prepare appropriately.

This interview is more likely to be about your fit for the organization and the position. You may meet the department management, and some of your would-be peers. There may be nobody else still in the hunt; at most there is one additional person. So, this is about not shooting yourself in the foot. Be prepared, be willing to open up a bit about yourself. Don't be cocky or aggressive. Dress consertatively, but if the last time you were dressed much more formally than the interviewer, you can ease up a bit, but just a little bit. For example, instead of a suit, you can wear a blazer.

Generally with large companies, they tend to use the first interview to make sure that your qualifications are valid and that there isn't something seriously wrong with you. The second interview will be more about seeing if you will fit in with the company and if you will work well in the environment. This one will generally be more about your personality.
Doesn't mean you get to act 100% yourself, but it does mean you should try and stand out in their minds by being very friendly and personable. They know you look good on paper, and you weren't flagged on the first interview as wrong for the position, so now you need to let them know who you are and why you should work there.
Since you've already been there, try and dress more like the people who work in the company, but don't go downright casual.

It will vary by company but for the most part, it's a personality game. They usually determine through the first interview if you're qualified for the job. The second interview determines if you'll fit in.

Second interviews are often more about how the team you will work with sees you. This means they may just want to talk rather then a Q&A style interview. Depending on the job, they may have you speak with team leads or even people who would be your co-workers.
Just be yourself and relax. You made it this far and that means they already like you.

They'll probably delve more deeply into your educational or work background as it relates to the job opening they're trying to fill. They'll ask more detailed questions on what you've done than they did in the first interview.
