We have a contract with a company to provide candidates. On 2 separate occasions, the company stated that the candidate was not to be considered. Within a few months, our candidates were made offers by the same company through another agency. It seems that the main contact who filters our candidates is sending these candidates to another recruiter.

What recourse do we have?

Ive never had a interview this big. Im only 20, so this is a big start for my career. I was wondering if anyone had any tips? What do the interviewers like to hear? I have already looked up all the info on the company. Was that smart, or should I have asked the interviewer all the questions as it would have gave me some stuff to ask? Lol, ill probably ask them anyway. Do interviewers like you to be forward and persistent? At my last job I put the guy on the spot and asked him "When do I start?" I know this may be wrong but, I got the job. Anyone have any ideas or smart interviewing tips?

I lowered my level of thinking to the level of my subordinate but as the manager i have to have limitations and i issued memos if needed to discipline my subordinates but they take it against me to the point they reported me to the higher ups. I cant go down to the extent of giving up to what they wanted me to do to run the office. I planned to quit my job coz i cant stand the people around me"corrupt . One thing i was hired in the office May 2005 as section chief and Dec 2005 i was designated as OIC Division Chief, this is one of the reason why my subordinate dislike me and even those section chiefs i by pass.

Ok I've been offered 2 summer jobs.
1st Nannying pays $7.15 an hour, 7 hours a day 4 days a week.
Pro- I've done it before for this kid, and its' easy, also tax free.
Con- As it's not a technical job it doesn't count towards experience.
If I took this I'd take up a second job in a craft store paying roughly $8 an hour for 20 hours on weekends. This job could carry on past the Summer which I need.

2nd Lobby Secretary 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, starting pay $11.50.
Pro- More money, and it counts as experience.
Con- Taxed, and it only lasts possibly 3 months.

I'm leaning towards the first for the reason that I really want something constant and even though the nannying isn't past the summer the craft store will be, and I can become full time when the nannying is over.

However the 1st is office experience, which I have, and would like more of, plus the job is a given and I've been looking forward to it.

Well, I'm still young, 24, and I've lost nearly everything I owned and everyone in my life. My parents are the only people I can really still talk to. I'm a writer and traveler and I think I am done with the states for a while.

What I want to do is get on a cargo or freight ship and wokr there for a while. A few years preferably. See a bit of the world, see the sea and get myself into better shape. I'm an adventurer at heart and I have spent the last seven years of my life traveling around. I really feel a calling to this and I want to dedicate myself to it.

So, where do I go from here? I live in Tallahassee, Florida. I have no previous ship experience but for a deckboy I wouldn't really need any. I would prefer a non US ship if possible, but I will take whatever I can get. Any help you good folk could give me would be appreciated.

I have been a cashier for the last 12 years. I’ve been attending college and should get an accounting clerk certificate at the end of this semester. I want to live my old job of 8 years and look for one as an accounting clerk but I’m so afraid of the change. And all of the jobs I have looked at require some experience. Do they usually train a person before they start a new job? Or do they expect you to know what to do and just jump in?

I'm in my junior year in high school, and I still don't know what I want to do. I like working with computers and people. I've been taking all the computer(and business) classes I can, but I'm still not sure if that is what I want to do. I like astronomy and studying law; the problem with these though is that they both require maths which I hate. Just looking for some suggestions.
