looking to realocate to n.c. would like info on best area for shopping. golfing dining and all around friendly people, also the most beautiful newer homes in the 5000.000 to 1 million dollar price range. any ifo would be greatly appreaciated. jo

Charlotte would be the hub you want as a city, but DO NOT move to that City. Quite a few towns nearby are GREAT and wonderful places to live without the 'urban problems' Charlotte Proper is suffering with. Lake Norman, Ft. Mill (SC), Tega Cay (SC) Mint Hill, and others. All are less than 30 miles from the center of Charlotte.

Lake Norman may be just for you. It's a very affluent community with all that you are interested in including lake front property. A lot of celebs buy in that area because it's one of the most beautiful.
