Why is your supervisor out to get you? That doesn't make sense if you're an excellent worker, reliable, and have a good attitude on the job.

Sounds like there's more going on here than what's been asked. Is it possible that you're not doing a good job and the company is looking at your resume to determine whether this is part of your history?

If you lied on the app, you lied on the app, and that is often grounds for termination. They don't want to terminate you now, and are warning you. What is there to fight? Better than fighting, get busy and become the kind of employee that nobody would ever terminate--and not just for compassionate reasons.

Don't go to the boss--it is your supervisor you need to figure out how to work with.

If you are in the United States, they aren't allowed to ask marital status or if you have children until you've been hired. If you filed false information when you accepted the job, they have grounds to terminate. I'd approach the director, with the supervisor in a joint meeting and explain what the situation was. You also need to apologize. It's not their fault you are in the situation you're in, it's yours. I sincerely hope that your command of the language is better than your writing would indicate, as it will make your case more persuasive.
