Your local library can tell you about summer job, part-time jobs for teenagers. Or you can try your local stores like supermarkets, the mall shops and inquire if they have any positions for you and get the application to fill out.

If you mean the bay area around SF California,
I highly suggest checking out environmental groups and websites, such as the Bay Area Action, anything related to forests and wildlife preservation. There are always more organizations seeking help that enjoy involving students, and are designed to train you in rewarding, informative jobs.

Once you link to one site, you can be referred to others. Or you might meet very caring people who know of other opportunities open to students. Check out university campuses also. Libraries, museums, or other interesting places where you can learn a lot on the job. Good luck!

P.S. The best guide I ever found on job hunting and career changes is "What Color is Your Parachute" by Dr. Richard Bolles. In the Index there is a comprehensive guide to all kinds of references that may give you ideas you hadn't thought of trying. Check with your local library or look online.
