Well, I didn't work for three years because when I first got married, my husband didn't care if I worked, so I took some time off to kind of get the house arranged and to rest a bit.

Then I was about to go back to work and I got a really long, hard illness and was completely out of it for like 6 months and even after that it took a long time to get to where I could do much.

All of this took up the time of about 3 years. I am working again now though, but it was really weird getting back into the work world after being gone that long.

Having children
Setting up a proper structure 3 years to raise your kids is quite a short time. Whatever you say DO NOT say you were sick. Most people use that as a bench mark to say you'll mss work due to some illness.

Anyone asked you did voluntary work. I'm sure you did social things to get you kids properly socialised believe it or not after school clubs and church society function meetings are thigns people get paid to do. So if you did it you should cop to it.
