my mom wants me to get a job SOON, and my last job as a hostess was a nightmare. what are some jobs that are GOOD with being flexible with highly school involved and acedemic teens that i won't get anxiety about going in for? specifics are good. what about clothing stores? something. thank you!

I was not provided the company cell phone IAW policy. I received a call on my cell phone but was unable to call the boss as directed because I couldn't initiate calls. I was told I could have driven 3o minutes to use the company phone. My appeal was denied. I told the secretary to have the boss call to explain the need. She stated she would however she denied she heard that request.

How should I approach the next appeal?

Do you think it would be fair if your boss reviewed you for a possible raise, but denied it because you had worked too much overtime?

I already have a B.S. in Cytotechnology, but I earned that 25 years ago and haven't worked in that field for nearly 10 years. Since I would need some re-training to get back into that field, I might as well pursue an area of medicine I believe I might enjoy more than I did cytotechnology.
At this point in my life I'm not that interested in becoming a supervisor - I'd be quite happy just doing bench work - but mostly, I want to be employable.
Thanks!

I am very good at taking pictures and putting them onto a DVD with music, transition effects, etc. Some people have even told me that it's my calling. I am only 14 years old. Is there any way I can start making these videos for other people for a profit right now?

He resigned months ago, but we discovered that his work was incomplete, and we are not being penalized for nonsubmission and late submission of several documents.
Can we still run after him? Is it correct to make him liable even if he is no longer with us? (Well, I'm thinking if we discovered it earlier while he is here, we would've fired him anyway.) So can we still use him as a reason for nonsubmittal or late submission of requirements to our clients?

I applied for a job that I'm completely qualified to do. When I got an interview I pretty much aced it and thought I'd be working for this company soon. After a couple months I was called back for what I thought was going to be a second interview but I ended up signing a mountain of paper work and going to take a drug test. I thought surely this means I got the job and everyone I asked said the same. Several weeks went by with no word so I called the person that interviewed me and she said, "Oh don't worry I haven't forgot about you, I'm just waiting for the paper work to be processed and then I'll get you started." A few more weeks went by and still no word. Then I get a later from a company that did the back ground check on me, it pretty much said everything was good (I'm not a crook) It has now been about a month since I took my drug test and I'm still not working. What is the deal??? I know it doesn't take this long to decide does it?

Well, I just started college this year. I don't know what I want to major in yet but I know it's a mix up between teaching (secondary) or psychology... Ive been trying to weigh the pros and cons to both...

With teaching... in Omaha, there are tons of openings for teachers and it would be a secure job to have. Id need to goto school for about 4 years and the hours would be good too... It wouldnt be a job I hate and its not the best money but you can live off it...

With psychology, that was my dream job since I was little but the need for actual psychologists are very low... in order to even really make money you have to have a PHD pretty much ... Im very interested in it though and I would LOVE to have a job in this field... I know there is social workers and counselers but I want to eventually become a psychatrist one day... but It would take FOREVER to get a PHD and I dont know how secure it would be

Could someone else explain to me more pros and cons of both...thanks

, just wondering which directions I can take my career with this, as I am not planning on staying with my current company. I also want to eventually get my black belt. I am in the very early stages of my career (3 years out of College). And just looking for some insight and advice from seasoned professionals. In addition, if anyone has salary ranges for their suggestions I would appreciate it.
