Careers & Employment - March 2007

I graduated from college last year 06. My major was Computer Science. I have been looking for a job in that area or close to it but have not came up on anything yet. Other then my passion for computers. I also wanted to work with kids either P.E coach or a computer teacher. what would I have to do to in order to qualifiy for these jobs.

This employee had continued absenteeism and tardiness issues as well as not showing up to work 4 times in one year, 2 of them withing the last week. She was fired after 4 supervisors reviewed her personnel file. Within 4 hours, our director unfired her to give her one more chance. Needless to say to say, the 4 supervisors are pretty disappointed in the director.

hi, im 17 and I wanted to know if there was a website where i could find part time jobs in my town. I live in Roselle, NJ. i just want to find a regular part time job. ive been to a few websites that ask for a category and stuff, but i just want a regular job at some crappy place making minimum wage. im trying to get a car. i just want a job. i just need a way to find out who is hiring, because im tired of filling out online applications for stores who aren't hiring. those applications take forever.

The career finding sites aren't really doing it for me & I need to relocate soon. Trying to avoid temp agencies too. So the classifieds in the major newspapers would be very helpful, but can't seem to find them online - only find small town papers & community papers.

I've just gotten "downsized" and unemployment will send me to school to learn a new career. I was thinking about becoming a paralegal or a real estate agent but do enjoy spending the weekends with my family. Any suggestions so I can begin my new career? I need to make a good salary as I worked for over 30 years at my past job but don't want to go back to an office environment (and get eaten up!).

I work in a remote office and my direct supervisor works in another office. We only see eachother in person about 2-3 times a year. All other communication is via email, phone, IM. I am planning to quit --Given our circumstance, can I resign over the phone? I don't anticipate seeing her anytime soon, so I don't know how else to do this.

I really dunno what I wanna be. I mean sooo many people want me to be a lawyer ,i sorta do but the problem is that I really just wanna be a married woman with adorable children who works part-time. I don't know if being a lawyer is parttime.

weekends. My son hasnt seen his dad in almost a month and I called him the other day to find out when he can spend time with our son. His answer was that he has picked up some extra shifts at work and would call me back, well he never called me back. I dont know what to think! hey sup i was wondering that I wanted to become a doctor
and my high school grades are ok i have a gpa of 3.0 and does that mean anything or do they only look at your college grades
