No, a nurse practitioner requires a master's degree and most likely some professional affiliation and certifications as well. Of course you can get your associates in nursing (ADN or ASN) then take an RN-MSN program but it will take several years at best.

I did a report on nurse practitioners and after you get your bachelors you go on to you masters. So your looking about 8 years of schooling altogether.
